About our Troop

About

Here at Troop 46, we are dedicated to help out scouts learn valuable skills, including survival, medical, cooking, and beyond. With our rich 75 years of history and tradition, we are dedicated to helping scouts learn valuable leadership skills, leading their peers and applying learnt skills on monthly outtings.

We meet at the Barrington Congregational Church at 461 County Road from 7:00 to 8:30 pm every Tuesday evening, September through June. We also schedule a campout and several community service projects throughout the year. Some of the events included hiking Mount Greylock, skiing in New Hampshire, whitewater rafting in Maine, beach camping on Block Island and attending summer camp at Yawgoog, where we have been a Medicine Bow Honor troop for several years.

If you have any questions about our troop program, please feel free to contact Doug Moshier (Scoutmaster) or Phil Tavares (Committee Chairman).
